  • Pregnancy and Postpartum Physiotherapy focuses on providing the right support during and after your pregnancy. It prepares the body for labor and safely guides your recovery after delivery.
  • During pregnancy and postpartum your body goes through significant changes. A detailed analysis of the concerns will be conducted during the initial consultation.
  • Treatment plans during pregnancy include techniques such as taping for lower back pain, pelvic floor and deep core strengthening, gentle pelvic floor massage guidelines to minimize tearing in preparation for vaginal delivery, breathing techniques and discussion of birthing positions to make labor and delivery smoother.
  • Postpartum treatment plans focus on deep core and pelvic floor recovery, pain management, C-Section scar mobilization, postural training with lifting and breastfeeding of newborn and safe return to exercise.
Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Rehab

Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Rehab

Gentle, non-invasive management of bowel and bladder issues in children over 5 years of age, such as constipation and bedwetting.

If the answer is yes then your child may benefit from Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Rehab.
  • Consultations are non-invasive involving the parent and the child together. The patient’s family will be asked to complete a bowel and bladder diary following the evaluation to provide additional information on the child’s current bowel and bladder habits.
  • Age-appropriate education will be provided to the patient and the family regarding the function of the bowel and bladder, proper posture on the toilet, breathing techniques, hygiene and more.
  • A specific treatment plan will be developed for each patient based on the initial assessment. This may include pelvic floor strengthening and coordination exercises, techniques to encourage complete voids, and daily habits that support healthy urinary and gastrointestinal function.

  • In-depth analysis of the root cause of dizziness or vertigo will be conducted during the initial consultation. Education will be provided on how the vestibular system operates and how it is involved with maintaining balance, head/eye movements and spatial orientation.
